Call Canna was founded in 2022 by chance when its founder, Donald Spann, was listening to a speaker at a Cannabis event lamenting about how frustrating it was to find quality vendors in the Cannabis space. After the event, he approached one of the speakers, Brian Ward, and asked about the status of Call Center providers in the industry.
Brian, a heavy hitter in the Cannabis industry himself as former CFO of Verano and currently CFO of LeafTrade, felt strongly about the lack of cannabis industry-specific contact center options. As an experienced call center operator, having built and sold a US-based call center in 2019, this was all Donald needed to hear. A week later, Brian became the first member of our advisory board and an investor.
