Donald Spann
Founder
Donald previously founded, built, and sold a US-based call center with over 1300 clients, his 4th exit in as many industries. He spent some time consulting PE firms, other call center operators, and new entrepreneurs in the call center space before launching Call Canna in 2022.
Nadia Pejovic
Head of Operations
Nadia has extensive experience in Pharmaceutics and Customer Support, having been a practicing Pharmacist for over eight years. A perfectionist by nature, Nadia is constantly looking for ways to improve. Before joining the team at Call Canna, Nadia was a senior associate at Hero, a pharmaceutical technology company in the US.
Benedict Ndoro
Head of Review Management
Benedict started as a freelancer just a few short years ago, advancing quickly to senior agent manager with SigmaZone analytics, responsible for a team of over 50 across multiple locations. Before joining Call Canna, Benedict worked as an Agent Manager with Vondu Virtual, a Canadian managed services company providing specialty talent primarily from Zimbabwe and other parts of east Africa.
Amer Omerovic
Agent Manager
Amer brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our team.
His stint as a Business Development Manager at CITT d.o.o showcased his marketing finesse. Amer’s venture into virtual assistance with One Umbrella Marketing demonstrated his knack for sales and advertising but he has also worked in the Customer Service industry for over 7 years.
Sara Milosevic
Agent Manager
Sara is a communications geek with a background in English. Her previous work experience is primarily in marketing, which explains her drive to bring about each of our client’s authentic voices into our daily customer interactions. She believes that each client is different, and that their voice should always reflect that. She is excited at the prospect of finding and establishing that voice with future partners, and creating an environment of security and consistency for their customer base.
Nedzla Jelcin
Product Complaints Manager
Nedzla is a proactive problem solver with meticulous attention to detail, ready to contribute her skills to uphold the highest standards of customer experience. With an educational background in IT, she combines technical expertise with a customer-centric approach to deliver effective solutions. Before joining Call Canna, she successfully managed graphic design projects for clients around the world.
Nina Saro
Head of Social
Nina is a newcomer to the social media field, with previous experience leading human resources for major Chicago nonprofits and start-ups. Nina first got her start through Vicky Virtual, working as a virtual assistant, and forged connections to develop a social media and marketing career. Before joining Call Canna, she was a digital marketing assistant at Linx Media, where she helped companies reach their ideal customers through various online channels.

Board Member
Brian is currently the CEO of LeafTrade, a B2B wholesale transactions solution provider in the Cannabis space. Most recently, Brian was CFO at Verano, helping oversee company growth of 300-4,500 employees and an IPO during his tenure.
Shannan Wilson
Board Member
Shannan is currently a Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Rooted Life, a group of mental health housing residences for former addicts and patients struggling with mental health issues. An Aerospace Engineer turned Harvard Business school alum, Shannan was previously the Principal of Alprion Capital Management, a hedge fund focused on Municipal investment.
Steven Weisman
Board Member
Steve Co-Founded Grassroots Cannabis and Windy City Cannabis, with affiliated enterprises spanning 60 dispensaries and seven cultivation and processing facilities across 12 states. Curaleaf acquired Grassroots Cannabis in 2020.
Travis Moyer
Board Member
Travis is currently Chief Legal Officer at Fyllo, a marketing, big data, and compliance company in the Cannabis space. Previously, Travis served as a VP of business development at Curaleaf and helped oversee the legal side of the acquisition of Grassroots Cannabis, where he served as VP of legal at the time.
Chris Jeffrey
Board Member
Chris Jeffrey is a partner at Baker Tilly, the largest CPA firm in the country that also works with the Cannabis industry. In his role as a Partner, Chris oversees the Cannabis arm.
